After years and several friends suggesting I try chiropractic care for my migraines I finally gave it a shot. I started going to Atlas at the end of February and I am so unbelievably impressed with the care that I have received. I have suffered from severe, debilitating migraines since I was 6 years old. I have been on several different prescription medications and have had a gamut of tests run on me all with the same outcome. I was told that there was a chance I would grow out of them but, most likely I would just have to deal with them and manage both my triggers and the pain. Since managing my triggers would mean basically not partaking in any sort of actual life, I chose the managing pain route. Before seeking care at Atlas, I was taking medication basically everyday. If I felt the twinge of a migraine I would take meds rather than have to deal with a full blown migraine that would ruin my whole day and usually effect me for several days after. Since treatment, I have, for the first time in my life, found relief WITHOUT medication. They performed pre and post treatment X-rays in the office which helped me understand exactly what was happening in my neck and allowed me to see the my progress. The doctors went over the results and the care plan thoroughly but, also took the time to break it all down in a way that was easy to understand. The front desk staff is friendly and they make you feel like family. I highly recommend Atlas Chiropractic.

I couldn't even get an answer for a simple question from the staff. I just wanted to know how much they charge per adjustment as I was trying to maximize the amount of adjustments I can get out of my health insurance. They were more interested in knowing who their competition is and getting me in for an exam than trying to win a new customer. Do not even bother with calling them. Edit (1-26-16):My sister health insurance changed and she had to go to a new chiropractor. She convinced me to give Atlas Chiropractic a second chance and I'm glad I did. Dr. Church is a really approachable and sensible professional. You can tell he really cares about you. Dr. Church and all his staff really work hard to make you feel like you are part of their family and you belong there. I highly recommend this practice.

Since 2 years ago I have been under regular chiropractic care, but it wasn’t until recently that I learned why the adjustments were so effective and why I have been a pretty healthy person all my life. Dr. Church taught me that an optimal spine gives optimal health and that the adjustments were directly affecting my nervous system. Any subluxation, or misalignment of my spine could put pressure on my nerves, and they didn’t like that. Having regular adjustments and being subluxation free has kept me healthy. I have never been really sick, no allergies, never had the flu. I have never taken any pain medications and hardly ever get even a headache. I know this is because my spine and nervous system are healthy, and my x-rays prove that!

I went to see Dr. Church back in June for an issue I have had with my neck for several years. In the past when I went to a chiropractic office it would be an adjustment and stimulation for the injured area and a short term relief of the pain. Dr. Church showed me that to take care of my problem for long term relief I needed to commit to the process of adjustments and learning exercises to strengthen my neck and correct the problem. In the time I have see him my neck feels better and I religiously go to my adjustments and work on my exercises every day. He has shown me through x rays that I am once again getting the correct curvature in my neck that was off line based on years of working hunched over a computer. I cannot express enough how much he has helped me out and I look forward to being a patient of his for years to come. I cannot recommend him enough.

I injured my miniscus in knee on the job, & am in process of trying to decide the correct path forward for situation at hand for my wellness & extreme pain I have been dealing with for months. In August of 2020, I was experiencing extreme sharp, dull and throbbing pain on my left side including my shoulder and hand..My doctor prescribe Ibuprofen first, it did not help, he said pinch nerves,he recommended NSAID I started to have pain in my chest, after 3 days of taking the NSAID, I told the doctor and discontinue taking the pills. I then visited Atlas Chiropractic they took x rays. Also explained why when I bent my head, forward, backwards or sidewards it caused the extreme pain on my left side. I began having adjustment three times a week for three months beginning in September 2020. i no longer have the pain anymore, i am able to drive, braid my daughter hair, do my job.

I started chiropractic care here a couple of months ago in order to boost productivity at work. I sit in ergonomically incorrect seats at the office for really long hours which puts me in danger of LBD connected to sitting for long periods. When I stepped into this chiropractic office, the friendliness and professionalism in this place is palpable! The staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable; the doctor designed a treatment plan for me that worked like magic! I have experienced a tremendous increase in muscle effort and disk pressure since I started my chiropractic treatment here. The doctor helped me achieve proper spinal alignment and I am not in danger of LBD – yay! I actually feel better, I highly recommend preventive chiropractic care, because it is a great alternative to taking drugs that usually leaves me feeling really groggy. When it comes to seeing my chiropractor, I NEVER miss my appointments!

I can't recommend this practice highly enough! I found them through my coworker’s recommendation and called them looking to get an appointment asap. I've always been skeptical about going to a chiropractor but after I got ran over by a car I left like I had no choice but I'm so glad I chose Dr Church's office. They have been so great and the care seems at first like it doesn't work but after going consistently 2/3 times a week I immediately felt the difference and I've never felt better. Three years ago I made my first appointment with Dr Church. I was suffering from dizziness, vertigo, migraines, ulcerative colitis and I also had lower back surgery as well, several years prior to all of this. I tried different forms of treatment, from medication, injections, acupuncture with slim to no results. I had heard about Dr Church and how wonderful he was. I have to say it’s three years later, due to the spinal adjustments that I receive, I have not had one ulcerative colitis flare and with my recent colonoscopy I have absolutely no inflammation in my large intestine or colon, and without taking my ulcerative colitis medicine either for three years. My migraines have completely disappeared, I no longer suffer from dizziness or vertigo and I don’t even feel that I had lower back surgery many years ago. Dr Church has also been adjusting my teenage daughter for three years as well.It is extremely important to also take care of our children, to make sure their central nervous system functions properly and also provide them with the gift of health. Dr Church has a literally given me my life back. This man has truly been blessed with hands that heal.

If I could give Dr. Church 10 stars I would! He is a doctor that genuinely cares about his patients, and about giving the best quality of care possible. Giving 110% of his care and attention to every single patient. Atlas Chiropractic is not just a doctor's office, everyone is treated like one big extended family. Chiropractic helps with so much more than just back and neck issues. My daughter suffered from asthma, and thanks to Dr. Church she MAYBE uses an inhaler once a year, sometimes not even that. We don't use any preventative medication for her, and she rarely ever gets sick unlike most children in our school. I myself have suffered with scolosis since childhood, and my parents opted for no surgery. My back is in great shape thanks to Dr. Church and I am able to exercise, run, do yoga, nobody would every know that I have scolosis unless they saw my xrays.

I have been to many chiropractor in my life time, some good some not so good. Been coming to Atlas Chiropractic for almost a year now. I came to them due to having COVID which place me in a medically induce coma, I was in a hospital bed for almost 2 month. After rehab, I would walk maybe fifteen minutes and my back was hurting I was like for about a year. I was told about Atlas and decided to give them a try, this group went above and beyond to get me where I am today. I am able to be standing, walking and a lite jog with no pain. Dr. Church and Dr. Z. Are amazing, they take the time to tell you what will be happening and would explain to the simplest way that you leave there knowing what will happen. Hi all! Just want to let everyone know that Dr. Church is my miracle! Before I came to see him I could hardly move as in I had such trouble and pain climbing stairs, walking, dancing, getting up from trying to do my gardening, sleeping and even getting up from a chair after eating my dinner was hard! Such simple things in life I couldn't do with ease like I used to that are so taken for granted ! Friendly , Caring experienced staff , quick wait time and great adjustment every time I visit

March 2021 I had a back injury that hindered me from walking and sitting without pain. I could barely walk without using a cane.
I started seeing Dr Church and Dr Z the beginning of May. I stopped using the cane in August.
I would highly recommend Atlas, the staff are friendly and caring.

I have known Dr. Church for approximately 20 years. I originally started seeing him in Atlanta, and he still follows up with me every time he is in town at continuing education seminars. I appreciate the fact that he is about whole health wellness, vs a quick fix. I would highly recommend him to anybody, and have recommended him to friends and family.

Today I stopped and saw Dr Church and his staff I haven't seen them since the beginning of the year when COVID-19 hit.

He has been my chiropractor probably for almost 10 years now he's the best there is when it comes to chiropractic care I would never go anywhere else but him for the care that I need for myself getting adjusted seems like butter, he knows exactly what to do and how I feel about chiropractic care.

It is so important to get adjusted, it's the most healthiest thing that you can do for your body. I am living proof of it every time my back flares up he's there with a hand to help me. If you need a chiropractor you need to call this office! Outstanding staff!

The staff and doctors are top notch. I was in a lot of pain in my lower back but with treatment the pain is gone

I live within walking distance of several chiropractic offices, but I choose to drive to Atlas Chiropractic in East Haven. Why? Because of the excellent care from Dr. Church, Dr. Z and the fantastic staff as soon as I walk through the door. For those who don't believe in chiropractic care? Well, I've seen with my own eyes the difference between my before and after x-rays. X-rays don't lie!

After desperately trying to avoid surgery for herniated cervical discs resulting in a painful pinched nerve, I went to see Dr. Church. I was a bit nervous having never gone to a chiropractor, but within 2 weeks I was feeling less pain and had more mobility. And 3 months later, I'm pain free and down to 1 visit per week. The staff is also friendly and always willing to help out. Best decision ever!

I've been a patient of Dr. Church for almost ten years. Once or twice a month to keep everything in alignment has been a great investment for me. I don't do reviews often but this is a well run operation that doesn't just provide the best chiropractic care, but also provides great customer service in a respectful manner.

Dr. Church just treated my elbow tendinitis and it hasn't felt that good in six months.

Absolutely wonderful practice. Have helped me, my husband and my 5 year old son! I have multiple ailments and chronic pain and inflammation. I have only been a patient of Dr. Church for all of an hour (that's an exaggeration) ...I met him and his office staff today for my first visit and care was exceptional from the time I walked through the door. Desk staff greeted me by name, came out to shake my hand and helped me with the sign in process. I was impressed by that. Service and care was matched at that level for the entire visit. It is clear that Dr. Church cares about his patients and is passionate about his practice. He took the time to explain everything to me in depth and left me feeling confident that he could help me. Much different and better experience than what I previously had at other chiropractic office.

Church corrected two blown out discs, all the orthapedic surgeon s wanted to cut me open and Adam realigned them in three months, no scare tissue , no pain , no recovery from a surgury and at a mere friction as to what the orthpedes would have charged - he's the real deal.

I love this office, the personnel is very Dinamic and polite. They always maintain the office very clean and refreshing. Dr. Adam is very great at what he does and he knows all his clients very well. Everyone calls us by our name when we come in. I love this place
